Of Days Lost To Crap

It’s been a long, long day. I woke up to having no keys and my Mom digging throughout the house trying to find my Dad’s keys, which apparently he had lost in a 12 hour period overnight. He had my car to get into Muncie, and if we didn’t find the keys, it’d be the only usable car for the entire family. Obviously, that wouldn’t work out well. Finally, when he got home around 1, he started searching too, and somehow it had ended up in a ravioli can in the trash. I still can’t figure out how that happened.

After that, I decided to be productive and write my journal entry for one of my classes. It went fine, around 1000 words when I got to the end. Then I clicked post. The program the school uses for the journals had logged me out while I was writing it. It wouldn’t let me go back and get my text back either, so I lost that entire afternoon’s worth of work, or so I thought. Somewhere near the 3/4’s point in the entry, I had copied that text to my clipboard, so it wasn’t as terribly bad as it could be.

There was another situation after that that isn’t going to be shared here, because it’s a bit more personal. It’d still bugging me as I write this, so I think I’m making the right choice there.

All in all, it wasn’t the best day, but it wasn’t the worst. Basically, all first world problems. So I’ll deal, and I’ll be ready to go in the morning. Tomorrow’s another day!
